OHIP helps youth quit smoking

The province of Ontario will now be offering people 18 to 24 assistance to quit smoking. The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care recently announced that they would be providing youth with free counselling and medication through OHIP+. Services and medications covered through OHIP+ include support services and counselling by a pharmacist for up to one year, as well as prescription medication such as Zyban and Champix.
